Fucking hell the day is finally here!

Where in the world are we all coming in from or at least watching it tonight?

Just getting ready to leave Dubai to fly in for tonights game, a 9,000 mile round trip.

Excited, a bit emotional and above all up for making the most of what will be a memorable day and night whatever happens.

It was a great day, and worth every kroner I spent getting down there and getting mashed up beyond belief.

Didn't have a ticket, but I've never had such a good time at football outside on the streets ever. I was already a proud Hammer, but that day only served to strengthen that feeling, when I didn't think it could get any stronger.

I was proud to have stood in the line of West Ham protecting the police line form further bottling. Ha! That was a first, and not one news outlet picked up on that, which was one of the biggest stories of the day, in my eyes.

Loads of memories from the 70's and 80's like many others on here. Nothing will replace the swell and crush of the terraces, specially after scoring, but it's not been like that for many years now. Roll on the OS.
I'll be watching at the SoBar in Spain, proper West Ham pub.

Likewise Texas. NBC are usually spot on with their coverage but disappointed they haven't done more on the final game... they do those Premier League download programs for everything else it seems.

Internet NBCSN...Houston Texas...as I've done for every Prem game...

And various streams for other cup games when available...

NBCSN every Prem game has been worth every penny of my astronomical Cable Fees...as I have seen many other Prem ...CL...Europa league ...Foreig Football games too on Fox Sports and BeInSports...

Will never forget my many days there from 1957 to 1973...

North Bank...Rolling forward with a crushed standing crowd...

Standing just alongside the Band enclosure about 5 yards from the touchline...

Seeing the Old Chicken run bounce...

Taking a ?Hot Thermos of Tea...Sandwiches ...and small bottle of brandy for extra cold days...

Old Percy Dalton Peanut Vendor...

Hot Chestnuts outside the ground...

Lining up in the rain...Freezing cold for Cup Tickets...

Camaraderie... insults...banter of the regulars...

Great Old Stadium...Loved every Minute...

Hope everybody has a great day. We may have different personalities and ideas, we may bicker and moan; however one thing we all agree on is we are West Ham. If we all had the same opinions life would be boring. COYI's

Watching in Connecticut USA. Sitting here thinking back to my first game. March 1963 my big brother took me to see us play Arsenal. We lost 4-0 and I couldn't wait to come back again. When the players came out, the roar of the crowd frightened the fucking life out of me! But I was hooked.

I feel a bit like Schindler at the end of the film. If only I had done more to see the old place more, but now it's too late. Watching/following from the comfort of my office. I'll be "in a call" the balance of the afternoon.

From Croatia Bilic comment.

"The Upton Park stadium IS a first home. No matter where you move after that - if you move to a fancy apartment, a big house or to a mansion - your favourite one is always the first.

"You are losing something because it is impossible to make the Olympic Stadium a fortress."

I wonder how many will turn up ticketless - I reckon 10k upwards.

Saturday was brilliant outside the ground - today should eclipse that.
